Rosie never wanted to be like her parents. When she was young, her mother and father often opted to get drunk rather than spend time with their children. But when Rosie’s brother introduced her to marijuana as a teenager, she loved the feeling. It wasn’t long before she tried other drugs too.

Lewis has a job in the kitchen at Mel Trotter, and is working towards his GED. “Mel provided me with everything,” he says.
